This journal follows a strict approach to plagiarism detection. All submitted manuscripts to the Journal of Emerging Intelligence are carefully examined using advanced plagiarism detection software (Turnitin or equivalent tools) to compare the content with a wide range of published sources for similarity. The editorial team ensures proper citation, originality, and academic coherence in all submissions. Authors are required to declare the originality of their work and provide appropriate source attribution, upholding the journal’s commitment to academic integrity.
Authors must acknowledge their awareness of the journal’s plagiarism and copyright policies when submitting their manuscript. All submissions are reviewed under the condition that any previously published or unpublished data is properly credited and necessary permissions have been obtained where required. This policy applies to all submissions made to the Journal of Emerging Intelligence.
Plagiarism includes copying ideas, text, data, figures, tables, or any other intellectual content and presenting them as original without proper citation. It also includes paraphrasing or reusing others’ ideas without appropriate acknowledgment. Authors are responsible for ensuring that any reused content is properly cited and, where applicable, authorized by the original copyright holder.
Authors must properly attribute all ideas, methodologies, and content derived from previous research, even if the journal follows a double-blind review process. If authors cite their own previously published work, it must be appropriately referenced without compromising the review process. If a manuscript is submitted or under review elsewhere, authors must inform the editor to avoid duplicate or parallel publication.
The primary objective of this policy is to ensure transparency and academic integrity by clearly distinguishing original work from derived content. In case of any uncertainty regarding proper citation or usage of material, authors are encouraged to clarify it in a cover letter to the editor.
For scientific papers/articles, a minimum of 85% originality is required, and for non-scientific fields such as language, literature, and humanities, a minimum of 80% originality is required.
A similarity range of 10% to 20% may be allowed, provided that proper citations are included in the references section of the manuscript wherever applicable.
